Requesting for discontinuance of the Verification Procedures
When verification procedures have been initiated with respect to the suspected goods based on the application related to patent rights, utility model rights or design rights, the importer related to the said procedures may request Customs to discontinue the procedures, after the expiry of certain period.
Customs orders the importer to deposit the security to cover the damages caused by the importation of the goods subject to the procedure for the applicants.
Where Customs confirms the deposition of the security, Customs shall discontinue the procedures and the said goods are released into free circulation.
