Using C++
Write the section of code which takes an array of characters and copies it to another array of characters. At this point two arrays of characters should hold the same name. You will need to use one of the loop instructions to do this. You can't use any built in functions. Write a second section of code which concatenates two arrays of characters into a third array of characters. The first array (which holds the first name) will be copied into the third array and the second array (which holds the last name) will be concatenated onto the third array. Once you are done filling in the arrays you should output the two sentences below. You are given the example input and output below.
Example Input:
Input first name -> Fred
Input last name -> Smith
Example output:
Your first name is Fred and the copy of your first name is Fred.
Your first name is Fred and your last name is Smith and the concatenation is FredSmith.

- Please see images, C++arrow_forwardUsing C++ Language In this program, you will write a program that uses a function to compute the maximum value in a randomly generated array of integers. Inside your main function, declare an array of size 10. Using a suitable loop, generate seeded randomly generated numbers between 50 and 100 inclusive. Display the randomly generated numbers using a suitable message. Call a function that returns the maximum value of the array. You will need to pass this array to a function. The function does not need to modify the array, hence pass it as a constant array. Use a global constant for the size of the array. You must display the maximum value of the array in the main function.arrow_forwardIn this lab, you use what you have learned about parallel arrays to complete a partially completed C++ program. The program should: Either print the name and price for a coffee add-in from the Jumpin’ Jive Coffee Shop Or it should print the message Sorry, we do not carry that. Read the problem description carefully before you begin. The file provided for this lab includes the necessary variable declarations and input statements. You need to write the part of the program that searches for the name of the coffee add-in(s) and either prints the name and price of the add-in or prints the error message if the add-in is not found. Comments in the code tell you where to write your statements. Instructions Study the prewritten code to make sure you understand it. Write the code that searches the array for the name of the add-in ordered by the customer. Write the code that prints the name and price of the add-in or the error message, and then write the code that prints the cost of the total...arrow_forward
- In C++arrow_forwardIn C++ write a program that generates three random numbers and then find the min number among the generated values, using these three functions: void getrandnum(int &n1, int &n2, int &n3), int findMin(int n1, int n2, int n3), and void printResult(int n1, int n2, int n3, int min). Make the main function drive all these functions.arrow_forwardIn C++, define an integer vector and ask the user to give you values for the vector. Because you used a vector, so you don't need to know the size. user should be able to enter a number until he wants(you can use while loop for termination. for example if the user enters any negative number, but until he enters a positive number, your program should read and push it inside of the vector). the calculate the average of all numbers he entered.arrow_forward
- C++ Can someone help me with this problem? I have been trying it but it still doesn't work. Thank youarrow_forwardPlease complete this program in C++ Please enusre that there is plenty of comments. PLENTY even if unessessary. Please include screenshots of actual code, screenshots of output, and code in the browser so I can copy and paste. Thank you.arrow_forwardWrite a C++ program that helps the user plan out their budget. It should ask the user for the most recent 5 things that they bought; it should ask for both the name for the item and its price. Then, print out the following: total money spent, average money spent per item, lowest priced item, and highest priced item. You can assume that each item has a different name and a different price. You must use at least 1 array and you must display all numbers as dollar values (exactly 2 places after the decimal) EXPECTED OUTPUT Welcome to the Budget Helper. What are the last 5 things you bought? Item 1 name: Bananas Item 1 price: 1.5 Item 2 name: Shoes Item 2 price: 45 Item 3 name: Coffee Item 3 price: 2.5 Item 4 name: Metrocard Item 4 price: 120 Item 5 name: Jacket Item 5 price: 89 The total amount you spent is 258ドルThe average price per item is 51ドル.60The cheapest item is BananasThe most expensive item is Jacketarrow_forward
- 1- Write a user-defined function that accepts an array of integers. The function should generate the percentage each value in the array is of the total of all array values. Store the % value in another array. That array should also be declared as a formal parameter of the function. 2- In the main function, create a prompt that asks the user for inputs to the array. Ask the user to enter up to 20 values, and type -1 when done. (-1 is the sentinel value). It marks the end of the array. A user can put in any number of variables up to 20 (20 is the size of the array, it could be partially filled). 3- Display a table like the following example, showing each data value and what percentage each value is of the total of all array values. Do this by invoking the function in part 1.arrow_forwardC++ In this lab, you're going to be working with partially filled arrays that are parallel with each other. That means that the row index in multiple arrays identifies different pieces of data for the same person. This is a simple payroll system that just calculates gross pay given a set of employees, hours worked for the week and hourly rate. Parallel Arrays First, you have to define several arrays in your main program: employee names for each employee hourly pay rate for each employee total hours worked for each employee gross pay for each employee You can use a global SIZE of 50 to initialize these arrays. Second, you will need a two dimension (2-D) array to record the hours worked each day for an employee. The number of rows for the 2-D array should be the same as the arrays above since each row corresponds to an employee. The number of columns represents days of the week (7 last I looked). Functions Needed In this lab, you must read in the employee names first because this...arrow_forwardin the C++ version please suppose to have a score corresponding with probabilities at the end and do not use the count[] function. Please explain the detail when coding. DO NOT USE ARRAY. The game of Pig The game of Pig is a dice game with simple rules: Two players race to reach 100 points. Each turn, a player repeatedly rolls a die until either a 1 ("pig") is rolled or the player holds and scores the sum of the rolls (i.e. the turn total). At any time during a player's turn, the player is faced with two decisions: roll - if the player rolls 1: the player scores nothing and it becomes the opponents turn. 2 - 6: the number is added to the player's turn total and the player's turn continues. hold - The turn total is added to the player's score and it becomes the opponent's turn. This game is a game of probability. Players can use their knowledge of probabilities to make an educated game decision.
