This question has 2 parts, in part A you will write a function and part B need to implement the function
Part A - Write a function called getDistance. This function will have 2 parameters: first is the speed of the object in miles per hour the second is time traveled in hours. The function will return the distance traveld by multiplying the speed by the time passed by parameter.
Part B will be a small program that will input the speed and time traveled by 2 vehicles. It will then print which vehicle traveld the furthest and must utilize the function written in part A appropriately.
Complete the starter file below (copy and paste into your answer).
#write your function here
def main():
vehicle1_speed = int(input("Enter the speed of vehicle 1: "))
vehicle1_time = int(input("Enter the time vehicle 1 has traveled: "))
vehicle2_speed = int(input("Enter the speed of vehicle 2: "))
vehicle2_time = int(input("Enter the time vehicle 2 has traveled: "))
#complete the program here for the desired output

- One lap around a standard high-school running track is exactly 0.25 miles. Define a function named LapsToMiles that takes a double as a parameter, representing the number of laps, and returns a double that represents the number of miles. Then, write a main program that takes a number of laps as an input, calls function LapsToMiles() to calculate the number of miles, and outputs the number of miles. Output each floating-point value with two digits after the decimal point, which can be achieved as follows: printf("%0.21f\n", yourValue); Ex: If the input is: 7.6 the output is: 1.90 Ex: If the input is: 2.2 the output is: 0.55 The program must define and call a function: double LapsToMiles (double userLaps) 412800.2778464.qx3zqy7 LAB ACTIVITY 1 #include 2 3 /* Define your function here */ 4 6.20.1: LAB: Track laps to miles 8 5 int main(void) { 6 7 /* Type your code here. - 2. Safir Market wants you to create a simple python program for calculating Total cost and change for their customers. The program should start by reading price, articles and Money. Then you need to do the following: • Create a void function that will display "Safir Market" • Create a function with return value and with parameters that will compute Total cost as product of articles and price • Create a function that will accept the computed Total cost as a parameter and will compute the change. If the Total cost is more than or equal to Money, the balance is to be calculated as Money - Total cost, otherwise print the message 'Money not enough' • Display the output as shown below, Sample output Enter the price: 345 Enter number of articles: 4 Enter Money: 65 -Safir Market Total cost is: 1380.0 Money not enough Change is: Nonearrow_forwardWrite a program that calculates the area (a) of a triangle given two values b (base) and h (height) and using the formula area = (base * height) / 2 .The program should include a function called calculate_area which has two input parameters(b and h) and one output parameter (a).The user is prompted to enter two input values that will be used as base (b) and height (h) thenthe function calculate_area uses those two values as input parameters returns the calculatedarea (a) as an output parameter.
