Figure 1 (a) is a seven-segment display, each segment is represented by a,b,c,d,e,f, g.
When a = 1, the corresponding segment "a" will be lighted up. When one or more segments are
correctly selected, the display will display decimal number 0~9 (shown in Figure 1 (b))and some
letter, such as A,C,E,F,H,L. or a blank display.

Please design a BCD to 7-segment decoder that can convert a BCD code to a 7-bit code that can
light up a 7-segment LED display as shown in Figure 2. If the WXYZ code is not a decimal number
(0-9), the 7-segement display should display a letter "E". You need to write down the truth table,
use k-map to simplify the circuit, write down the simplified expressions, and then draw the circuit
using appropriate logic gates. Print out this page as the cover page of your report.
