Adding a card to Wallet is simple — just open the Wallet app and tap the back of your iPhone with your eligible credit or debit card and follow the steps on your screen.1 You’ll have the option to add it to your other devices at the same time.
Now you can view your debit card balance before checking out with Apple Pay.2 All you have to do is connect your account to an eligible card you use in Wallet. Once your card is connected, it’s easy to access your important account information and make more informed spending decisions. View your available credit, see categorised spending summaries and search through up to two years of transaction history. And you’ll get low-balance warnings for your connected debit card — even at checkout — with direct access to your bank app for support.
Apple Pay is an easy, secure way to pay in shops, in apps or online. You can even use Apple Pay in your browser on non-Apple devices.3 Pay for a bus journey, a pizza or a new sofa with just a touch or a glance. And when you check out in shops with Apple Pay you can leave your wallet at home. So you have one less thing to lose. It’s no work, and all pay.
Apple Pay gives you flexibility at checkout when you shop online and in apps with iPhone or iPad. You can choose to pay in full or split your purchases into smaller payments over time through an eligible card.4 To set up a new pay later option when you check out in apps or online, go to Other Cards & Pay Later Options. Tap Pay Later to view your available plans and choose the one that works best for you. You can also add a pay later option in Wallet. Just tap the + button and then select Pay Later Options.
Add your favourite coffee shop, supermarket or retail rewards cards to Wallet, and next time you’re at the checkout, just tap and pay to receive and redeem rewards.5 Never lose another card, another point or another free double latte again. It’s the perfect way to get all your points across.

You can send keys through messaging apps, customise controls for new drivers, and share and revoke keys.
Wallet takes full advantage of the privacy and security built into iPhone, which is designed to protect your identity and keep what’s yours yours. When you make a purchase, Apple Pay uses a unique transaction code, so your card number is never shared with a merchant or put on Apple servers. And there’s no need to carry physical cards or touch buttons in shops. So it’s safe to say you’ll feel safer.

Your actual card numbers are never shared by Apple with merchants or stored on Apple servers. And your card information is securely associated with your Apple Account — helping you add and manage your cards and passes across devices.
It’s easy to use different cards and passes in Apple Wallet. Some passes can automatically appear based on time and location, like a boarding pass when you arrive at the airport.

To connect an eligible card account, you must first add your card in the Apple Wallet appadd your card in the Apple Wallet app. You can do this by opening the Wallet app, tapping the plus symbol, then tapping the back of your iPhone with an eligible card. Once your card is linked in Wallet, select it, tap the more button and select Card Details. Next tap Get Account Balance & Activity and follow the steps onscreen.
