AIST-Cube LogoThe logo of AIST-Cube has simple and clear design features with a three-dimensional
element that matches "a cube" in the facility name. The red line in the center
symbolizes the AIST Group's will to innovate, advance, and pioneer the future.
The exhibition facility of AIST, "Science Square Tsukuba", has been renamed
"AIST-Cube" with new exhibition line-up.
"AIST-Cube" is a place for co-creation where visitors can experience "the
not-too-distant future." Here, the AIST Group, together with companies seeking to
create new business, students aspiring to a research career, and others interested
in the AIST Group, will work towards creation of new values. At AIST-Cube, we aim
to inspire one another and have better communication through deep understanding of
AIST’s research results.
The new name of "AIST-Cube" represents evolution from "Science Square Tsukuba", from
"square" to "cube". AIST-Cube will serve as a connecting point for a diverse group
of people including companies, students and others, and act as a catalyst for
"collaborating together." This is what we hope to express in the name of AIST-Cube.
Through AIST-Cube, the AIST Group will further accelerate its efforts to solve
social issues and strengthen industrial competitiveness in cooperation with those
with diverse perspectives.
