Contribute to Google Maps & earn points

As a Local Guide, you can contribute content to Google Maps and get points if it’s published. Learn how to contribute high quality reviews and photos.

1. On your computer, open Google Maps.
2. Click Menu Menu and then Your contributions.
3. Click your name.
4. Your points can be found in your profile.

You can get points from many types of published content:

• Review and rate a place
• Add photos to a place
• Answer questions about a place
• Edit a place's information
• Edit a road on the map
• Add a missing place
• Check facts about places nearby
• Answer questions about a place
• Add and explore dishes
• Add to Google Maps and earn badges
