Readiness is an indicator of how recovered your body is from physical and mental stress. This score suggests when you can push hard and when you should prioritize recovery.
Your score ranges from 1 to 100 based on your heart rate variability and resting heart rate recorded during your last night of sleep, plus your sleep duration and consistency over the last 7 nights:
High readiness score
65 - 100
Moderate readiness score
30 - 64
Low readiness score
1 - 29
A high readiness score of 65 or higher suggests that your body is recovered and primed for intense exertion. A moderate readiness score of 30–64 suggests your sleep and body’s signals are typical compared to your personal benchmarks, indicating you are ready for a workout. A low readiness score of 29 or lower suggests that your body needs restoration, and you should prioritize your body's recovery through gentle movement, mindfulness, or extra rest.
Tip: Before you receive your first readiness score, you must wear your Pixel Watch 3 or 4 for 7 nights to establish your baseline. If your readiness score is not yet available, the device will display a countdown. This countdown indicates how many more nights you need to wear the device until your score is ready.
