PyMOLers, Upon ray-tracing PyMOL v1.6.0.0 (Linux 64 bit) changes the color and the mesh line width of the electron density maps. How can I disable this metamorphosis? Thank you. Hi Christian, yes, this is a new feature in PyMOL 1.6.0.0, the png command now supports units (cm, in): png image.png, 10cm, dpi=300 Cheers, Thomas Christian Roth wrote, On 09/03/13 17:20: > Hi, > > is there a possibility that given a current viewport image, to raytrace > and save the image in a specifized size lets say 10 cm width and with a > dpi of 300 in such a way that pymol automatically adjust the pixel size > of the image in such a way that it fits the specified width and dpi and > kep the aspect ratio. Hi, is there a possibility that given a current viewport image, to raytrace and save the image in a specifized size lets say 10 cm width and with a dpi of 300 in such a way that pymol automatically adjust the pixel size of the image in such a way that it fits the specified width and dpi and kep the aspect ratio. E.G. could pymol than automatically reduce the pixelsize or increase it? Hi Florian, this is not possible, sorry. Cheers, Thomas Florian Nachon wrote, On 09/01/13 12:48: > Hi, > > Probably a fancy request, but is there any way to map a picture to a > cgo object in PyMOL, like a plane or a sphere? > > Best, > Florian -- Thomas Holder PyMOL Developer Schrödinger Contractor
