lecture at the conference in his honor at the University of Iceland in
August, 2007.
The picture on the left, taken by Helgason, is
included just to show that I'm not vain. It's from an excursion
during the conference, and shows Erik van den Ban (in front)
and Henrik Schlichtkrull.
