xarray has some pretty powerful, indexing, re-indexing, and binning capabilities. My knowledge of them all is pretty limited, but reindex, reindex_like, groupby and groupby_bins all seem like useful targets for operations that folks dealing with practical, (削除) happy (削除ここまで) gappy, poorly gridded data, could use some help with.

I appreciate that some of this is probably old-hat for pandas users, but some of us just skipped right to xarray ;-)
