Has anyone tried/is planning to add a Sanic instrumentation? #1929

Where I work, we have multiple Sanic apps and were planning to integrate OpenTelemetry for tracing, we were thinking of implementing a Sanic instrumentation ourselves. Just wanted to check if anyone already has an implementation in the works.

No, There is no OpenTelemetry Sanic Instrumentation. All the instrumentations can be found here https://github.com/open-telemetry/opentelemetry-python-contrib/tree/main/instrumentation

Right. I was asking if there is already any implementation in the works by anyone (maybe by someone with a similar case like ours) that we could use and contribute to.

To the best of my knowledge, I don't think anyone's reached out the OpenTelemetry python community in the past about it, feel free to open an issue in the contrib repo and I would be happy to assign it to you if you'd like to take that on!
