Hi Shivansh, great to know that you are going to be working on this project. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with. If you need info to get up to speed with Simscape Electrical, you might find the circuit simulation onramp helpful. Cheers, Andrew

Hi Andrew, I did manage to make a case study about fault and ageing of electric components in the aircraft system and the system response due to those failures along with methodologies to prevent failure in the system. Are these aims and objectives acceptable?
if yes, then I’ll submit my report to you.
Kind regards,
Shivansh

Hi there,

We have not received any solutions to this project yet. But even if we did, you can always submit your own solution or built on top of a previous one to improve it and/or add new functionalities.

Hello, my name is Tammy Da Silva and I am a student at the University of Texas El Paso. As a passionate advocate for carbon emission reduction and a dedicated student majoring in Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering, I have long been searching for a way to merge these two areas of interest and contribute to the development of a meaningful solution for the future. After careful consideration, I have identified the electrification of aircraft as a promising avenue that aligns perfectly with my aspirations. Through this project, I aspire to shape a greener future for the aerospace industry, contributing to a more sustainable and environmentally conscious world.

@robertogl ,@Andrew-Bennett-MW can u please clarify how in the sample model u guys have shared of alpha electro pipistrel , how do u know its coefficient of lift and drag values at a certain angle of attack and also how do u guyz know the resistance values to use when modelling lamp, avionics , heater . also how do u guyz know the there should be two dc voltage levels while making the internal architecture of the aircraft , one dc voltage level is like 250 volts and the other one is 28V , is there any place where so much data is available for alpha electro pipistrel for everyone to see and if not how did u choose all these values.

Hi @ShaanSapru,

The model is quite dated but if we recall correctly lift and drag coefficients were obtained through literature search and electrical values were estimated. It would be great if you could also validate those parameters yourself.
