I tried

--reasoning_budget 0

and

--chat-template-kwargs '{"enable_thinking": false}'

for seed-oss, kimi-dev-72b, gpt-oss-*, glm-4.5 and some more and it didn't work for any model. I use it in combination with --jinja I can manually edit the templates to force disabled thinking, but I would assume that those options should work at least on one model
