Projection is distorted with later versions #261

Open
@CodyJohnsonCHE

Description

Contextily is not correctly projecting my data and basemap when plotting on a basic matplotlib axes. This was not a problem previously (when I was using version 1.3.0).

I updated contextily when I received a new laptop and was setting up our inhouse toolbox. I don't recall what this version was, but I confirmed that the issue is occurring with 1.6.2 and if I downgraded to 1.3.0 then the projection looks correct.

Sorry, I don't have more details. Perhaps there is something simple that I'm missing because I haven't seen this issue mentioned before.
