We all like and appreciate this collection of scripts, they have truly been a game changer for me in my home-lab, thank you.
With more and more services created with these scripts it's getting harder and harder to keep track of the services they provide IP and port, so I have started manually to adjust the pre-define LXC/VM notes to have a hyperlink to the service/UI that the script just created. I know there are many other ways to keep track of these links and I use some of them, but not for all obscure services.
It would just be a quality of life improvement to automatically also add a link to the UI the script just created within the notes.
I mean in no way to remove the note, just add a link to e.g. Immich. to it's easier to reach it.
Potential future automated noteWhat do you think?

This is pretty tough to implement because then the next folks will start whining, "Yeah, but I used a different IP" – "Yeah, I have DHCP and the IP changes every 5 minutes" – "But I have a different port" – "My ISP blocks internal queries", "I have everything externally via HTTPS," etc., etc.

I think that those people know about those limitations and shouldn't hold back 95% of the people.
I also do expose things through rev proxy and sometimes change port but that shouldn't prevent a nicer quality of life for most other people, should it?

Not really, but then certain sites accuse us of installing bloatware, ads or surveillance. Especially when we integrate some ips into the frontend (even if it's only in notes), I'm already hearing some conspiracy theories again... Unfortunately, we have to deal sometimes with shitstorms on a massive scale. Even if it's only 1%, they scream louder than the other 99% who are satisfied. Unfortunately, that always ruins the view. And none of these people understand that we are doing this voluntarily to make it easier to get into Homelab. We try to stay as lean as possible so as not to create any further targets. I hope you understand that?
If the post achieves appropriate upvotes, it would be conceivable to offer this as a feature in the advanced_settings.

Thank you for your consideration and swift response.
I await any upvotes if they come.
Else I will continue to be the 99% that are very greatful for your help. 🙇
