The video is still unavailable with error code: 15 #1257

Hey, I've recently updated to the version 13.0.0 but it did not help to some users and the issue is closed. I feel dumb, but what's the real solution? Do I have to disable the automatic initialization and initialize it programatically with the origin changed?

You still get error code 15 even with version 13.0.0? are you sure those users have the updated version of your app that has version 13.0.0?

Yeah, been fighting the whole night yesterday and triple checked it with a friend now again to be sure (for me personally it works perfectly on all, including virtual, devices)... Interesting fact is that somewhere between 1-10% of the videos are getting loaded! For the rest, unfortunately my friend keeps receiving the error code 15. Dunno what to say more, his YT app is updated of course, Android 15 not rooted, lots of free disc space... However, he was actually having some other troubles with loading the videos from time to time, before this issue started, and I was blaming him for doing something wrong in the app - maybe it's connected somehow. Anyway it's not that super important for me, I was just wondering if it's me who did not understand something related to the newest update. Thank you for your great work!

uhm, as long as you're not changing the origin it should be working fine. Let's see if other people are encountering the same issue.

TooManyRequestsException
Starting with Android 12, an app-specific limit on the number of ConnectivityManager callback registrations was introduced.
Cause: This exception can occur if an app calls registerDefaultNetworkCallbackForUid() too frequently without calling unregisterNetworkCallback().
