mataining caching for sticky session #1339

We have mod auth open idc configured on apache proxying requests to an application running on tomcat.
This application server is hosted on a cluster, if there are multiple servers configured on the backend then the session state is lost if we get routed to another server and a 401 error is returned.

I am following the link GitHub.com/OpenIDC/mod_auth_openidc/wiki/Caching and I have enabled the following config for the session type

OIDCSessionType client-cookie:persistent

This does not solve the issue as I can still see 401 errors. Is there other configuration I need to add in addition to the above?

Kind regards
