Hello,

I hope this message finds you all well.

is there a specific reason why Rust has not been added to Codecademy's list of programming languages, despite its growing popularity and adoption by top companies. I ask this question out of curiosity, and not with any intention of offense.

Thank you for taking the time to read my message. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

While Codecademy does have Rust courses, Docs is still in beginning stages in terms of content and depth. We'll keep Rust in mind as a future topic as discourse is continued on a fully standardized structure. Thanks for bringing this to our attention 🙂

@Pavan-Nambi That's good to know and we'll take this into consideration for Docs topic creation.

I can update you when that time comes 🙂

Thank you for sharing that information! It's great to hear that Codecademy is considering adding more Rust content in the future and that they have already started with some courses. Rust is indeed gaining popularity in the programming community, and it's important for learning platforms like Codecademy to stay up-to-date with the latest programming languages and technologies. I hope this information is helpful, and please let me know if you have any other questions!

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out. The decision to include or exclude a programming language from Codecademy's list is based on a variety of factors, including popularity, industry demand, and educational value. While Rust is certainly a growing language with adoption by top companies, there may be other languages that are currently a higher priority for Codecademy to add or update.

That being said, Codecademy is always looking to improve and expand its offerings, and suggestions from the community are always welcome. If you would like to see Rust added to Codecademy's list of programming languages, I would recommend submitting a request through the support or feedback channels on the website.

Thank you for your interest in Codecademy and for your understanding.

At Codecademy, we are always looking to update and expand our course offerings to meet the needs of our learners. While Rust is a popular and growing language with a strong community, we currently do not have plans to add it to our list of courses.

This decision is based on a variety of factors, including the current demand and interest from our learners, the availability of resources and experts to create and maintain high-quality Rust courses, and our overall course development priorities.

However, we are constantly re-evaluating our course offerings and taking feedback from our learners into consideration. We will definitely keep Rust in mind as we continue to expand and update our course catalog in the future.
