Hacktoberfest is back this year! 🚀 💻 🍂

Beginning on September 26th, individuals may register by authorizing with GitHub/GitLab and filling out a form. After registering, all valid pull requests created and merged between Oct. 1st and Oct. 31st will count for Hacktoberfest.

Labels Related to Hacktoberfest

The repository for Codecademy Docs will use the following labels:

• hacktoberfest - The PR was created during the registration period for Hacktoberfest (Sept. 26th - Oct. 31st, 2022).

• hacktoberfest-accepted Indicates the PR was approved, merged, and pertains to Hacktoberfest - The PR was created, approved, and merged per our review process between October 1st, 2022 and October 31st, 2022.

Valid PRs vs. Invalid PRs

As always, PRs must be in accordance with the following:

• Our content standards
• The CONTRIBUTING.md guide
• Our Code of Conduct

PRs that don't satisfy these criteria will be closed and/or labeled as invalid This doesn't seem right; not eligible for Hacktoberfest .
