Is there a plan to add NOOBS support for Plan9 ?

Have a PC but with an SiS chipset on which Plan9 does not boot at all(400MHz PentiumII).

With Noobs you can add custom Operating Systems

https://github.com/raspberrypi/noobs/bl ... /README.md
Take what I advise as advice not the utopian holy grail, and it is gratis !!

Have only a 4GB SD card. Can an image be added to the NOOBS lite repository?

Not yet, but it's on our long-term plans.
Have only a 4GB SD card.
In the meantime you can delete any OSes you're not going to be installing from the 'os' directory on your NOOBS SD card to give you more space, but you need to do this before booting NOOBS for the first time (as it's only during the first boot that NOOBS resizes the first FAT32 'RECOVERY' partition).
