Plan 9 img not booting
Hi all,
I'm trying to set up a little web server running under Plan 9 on a Raspi.
I'm using the plan9.img at the "official" link and burning it using win32diskimager.
The storage is a 8GB micro SD card using a to-SD adaptor. It worked before using Plan9, and after that, I installed NOOBS and Raspbian before. As of now, I only can stare at a black monitor.
Help, please?

Re: Plan 9 img not booting
I don't know why this doesn't work. The only thing I could suggest is first reformatting the card with the SD Association format tool.
If you hold the UNIX shell up to your ear can you hear the C?
Re: Plan 9 img not booting
Hi Andy,
I just tried that, but the thing is not working with the Plan9 img file.
I also checked, and NOOBS works without any problem at all.
Could someone please check that the Plan9 img works on their raspi?

Re: Plan 9 img not booting
how new is that image ?
how new is your RPI?
do you need an updated kernel / blob files ?

I don't really know if this is rellevant, but let's see:
The image is from last year.
My RPI was purchased when the Raspis were released.
I've no idea.
What I do know is that the image worked before on my raspi. But I can't remember if I installed it using dd, or win32imager.
Re: Plan 9 img not booting

Re: Plan 9 img not booting
It looks as a 58MB hard drive with 6MB of data in it.RaTTuS wrote:what does the SD card look like when you look at it in windows
Thanks for taking the time to help me out with this :)
Re: Plan 9 img not booting
So....I'm bumping this, since I'm waiting for an answer.
If you (RaTTuS) don't know why isn't that working, please do tell me. It would be better to know that you cannot help me than to expect an answer. (No bitterness here or anything, is that it would be better to get an answer).
Anyways, many thanks all for the help. ;)

Re: Plan 9 img not booting
no No Idea [just noticed this thread again in my posts list] -
I was wondering if it was a firmware + newer RPi problem.
Someone else with more P9 knowledge will have to answer [http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewforum.php?f=80 ] forum may be able to help more than troubleshooting dunno
