Keyring Issue with Cromium
Almost every time I run Chromium I get an "Unlock Keying Authentication Required" message requiring a password. I have tried my Google and Raspberry PI pass words but that doesn't seem to work. I usually just hit Cancel and I'm able to get auto login to my Google account with Google as my home page.
I'm using the 64Bit version of Trixie with all latest updates (updated this morning). I have used the Pi-Apps update to Chromium using Bookworm but have not run this update on Trixie. Should I run it again?
Any thoughts?
Rick

Re: Keyring Issue with Cromium
This keyring is your password manager so it's important to use it correctly and safely
Close Chromium and type this command to backup your current file
This will rename the file, forcing the system to create a new one.
When prompted, you can use the "blank password" technique as indicated in the other thread but I advise you not to.
Choose a good password and validate.
Now you will be prompted only once (after a reboot) to authenticate, so your keyring can use and provide your saved passwords for you when needed. Using this keyring correctly will prevent you from typing a lot of passwords afterwards.
Hope this helps
