Returning to the Pi advice sought please.
Hello fellow forum members,
Due to family commitments for the last three years I am now in a position to reinvigorate my interest in the Pi.
My first task will be my pi400. My first question is "can I just power it up and carry on as before?", I always kept the OS upto date and the system boots from an attached ssd. Can I expect any problems on powering it up?
Thanks in advance
Rgds

That should just work. Be aware, though, that in the last three years there have been two major upgrade releases to RPiOS So you may want to build a new system SD card with the current--"Trixie" (rel.13)--operating system.cincfleet wrote: ↑Wed Nov 12, 2025 5:23 pmHello fellow forum members,

Thank you W H Heydt, I shall most certainly look into that before I do anything else.W. H. Heydt wrote: ↑Wed Nov 12, 2025 5:31 pmThat should just work.
