Forum rules

Mon Aug 20, 2012 8:37 pm

We used to have a really long post here about netiquette on these forums. I figured we could make the whole thing much easier to understand by replacing it with something much shorter.

The rules are simple. Be good to each other.

This means be kind, be civil, don't spam. That's all we ask for; if you're unkind, behave in a way in which we all know you wouldn't behave if you were talking to someone face to face, or if you're a dirty, dirty spammer, then you face a warning or a ban.

You also need to be a human to post here. Machine-generated posts are not permitted, and we will ban posters that use LLM tools to create them.

Posts that ask technical questions about competing (also ran) Raspberry Pi like boards, or that advertise for one, will be deleted, and the poster will be banned.

This forum's a great place to be because people here behave thoughtfully and kindly, and the moderators work hard to make sure it stays that way. So stay on topic and be a nice person - thank you!
