Changes to Forums
We have just shuffled around some forums and deleted/merged to other topics some of the less used ones.
Should make the front page a little less lengthy.
If you have bookmarks that point to the specific parts of the forum, you may find they no longer work.

Re: Changes to Forums
A new version of the Compute module datasheet has been released. Its mainly a change to add 3.3v to the GPIO voltage table.
https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentati ... tasheet.md
I've also extracted the GPIO voltage table to the GPIO pages to make it easier to find

Important bug fix for 3B+ ethernet
There is a new bug fix for the ethernet driver, just been merged to our github kernel tree on 4.14. This fixes a race condition that a couple of community member and PhilE of RPF(T) figured out. It may well explain a lot of the ethernet crashes reported by people on the 3b+, especially when using USB attached drives, or Samba, or things like Plex server.
It should be in rpi-update tomorrow, but in the meantime, you can build it yourself from here.

New firmware for the Raspberry Pi Wireless Dongle
We have a new beta release of wireless dongle firmware. This is for anyone using this dongle https://www.raspberrypi.org/products/ra ... fi-dongle/
This file linked below needs to be copied to the /lib/firmware/brcm folder. You may wish to backup the existing file of the same name just in case.
This is the latest firmware build from Cypress, (compared with the current release which is 2014). It has a number of security and bug fixes - I am not sure exactly what though.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1NT8oo5 ... sp=sharing
I'm asking for any reports back, good or bad. If we find no regressions, we will incorporate this in to our main Raspbian release.

Updated FAQ page
We have moved the FAQ page to the github repo, and updated it at the same time.
New location is
https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/faqs/
but we have a redirect on the old page so links should still work.
Any comments or mistakes, please use this thread https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/view ... 3&t=223115

Pi4 Composite output fixed
Those people who have found composite output had stopped working on the pi4 after an update will be pleased to know that there is a proposed fix in rpi-update. Initial reports are that it's working fine, but would appreciate any composite users giving it a good going over.
