Blackscreen when booting from NVME
Hi guys, so i've wanted to change the boot from the card to my ssd on my raspi 5. It was working just fine, when it was booting from the card, i did the rpi-clone following some guide on youtube, changed the boot option to nvme in config, and now it starts like usual, but then the screen turns black, i can't access through ssh and also obviously can't access config now. Any advices before i start disassembling my raspi case? Pironman 5 max is not really pleasant to assemble, when you have to do it multiple times. And also if it will be resolved, can you recommend an actually working guide on how to change the boot option from the card to nvme. Nvme is Netac i believe
Re: Blackscreen when booting from NVME
Ah. The joys of "following some [random] guide on youtube".
It's impossible to say with any certainty what the cause might be given the information you've supplied. I could guess but that would be a wild stab in the dark and likely to waste both of our time.
Some suggestions:
**: You can use a gpio filter in the boot loader config to change boot order on the fly but it's a bit late for that now.

Some suggestions:
- Get yourself a Raspberry Pi Debug Probe.* That will allow you to monitor the boot process and login over the Pi5's debug UART.
- If you haven't already done so, remove the SD card and try again.
- Never set your boot order to NVMe first or, gods forbid, NVMe only. If you do, when you need to boot from some other media you have no choice but to disconnect the NVMe drive.**
- If you're willing to replace the NVMe drive's current contents you could try using the network install: https://www.raspberrypi.com/documentati ... he-network
