Raspberry PI OS 64-Bit is now out of beta, see the announcement https://www.raspberrypi.com/news/raspbe ... os-64-bit/
Is there any estimate when and whether Mathematica will be available on 64-bit?

According to Gordon, It will be discussed with Wolfram.

Nice to see the updates coming directly from Debian, I hope they have been warned ;)

Incidentally I see this is now in the announcements section of RPi OS and General Discussion forums, but still not in the top-level Announcements forum . . . !

This is a big revolution!
Why not split this section forum into 2 parts?
1) Raspberry PI OS 32 bit
2) Raspberry PI OS 64 bit
Ir would give more organyzed informations..
I am using:
Raspberry Pi 3 model B and B+ - with Raspberry OS
Raspberry pi 4 (with 2 gb of ram) - with Raspberry OS

That would only lead to duplicated information. Most things are the same whether it is a 32-bit or 64-bit system. It is only a small amount that differs.

Same reason as they won't have a specific Desktop Users section. :D

I disagree with the "Let's split up the forums" mentality.

Generally, I think there's really only 4 forums needed:

1) Help me (English)
2) Help me (Other languages)
3) Announcements
4) Off-topic (everything else not covered above)

Any other arrangement is just Balkinization (sp?).

Does Box86 now work in PiOS 64-bit? Last time I tried it failed.
An RPi can be a gaming PC. As long as you have the right packages and software anyway.
Using a RPi4 8GB with Ubuntu Desktop 21.04, main interests are gaming and programming. Also occasionally uses two RPi3B+ and a RPi3B.

I personally am in favour of 2 forums :
1/ French,
2/ Whatever you like
