The Java Tutorials have been written for JDK 8. Examples and practices described in this page don't take advantage of improvements introduced in later releases and might use technology no longer available.

You can download the
samples.zip file, which contains two Java application files, LimitSamples.java and SampleBase.java, and a directory, samples, that contains the xml files for the example.
To run the example, unzip the samples.zip file, compile, and execute the following on the command line:
java LimitSamples
