I have a FitBit One that I use religiously! My husband got a new Charge HR yesterday. I set it up for him last night with his own user name/email.

I had over 6500 daily steps a few hours ago today. I just checked it before we took our dogs for a walk and it has DECREASED to 4,150 which is the number of steps his HR Charge shows for him! Silly question, but are they interfering with each other???

Hi @KVH61 and welcome to the Community. No, they do not interfere with one another. But since you were careful enough to set your husband's HR to his own account and password, it then follows you each have your own account at www.fitbit.com. So when running the app on your iPhone, you have to sign on to your account to view your stats; if the Fitbit app is already logged to your husband's account, then what you see are his metrics, not yours. So if the Fitbit app is already logged to your husband's account, you have to sign him off and sign-on to your account to view your dashboard.

If you each had your iPhone with you, then each of you could be signed on at the same time to your own account, without any issue. If you only have one iPhone, there might be a way around having to sign on sign off charade, although I've never tried it. There are two ways to look at your dashboard on a phone - you can use the app and you can use the Web browser on your phone. So if one is connected via the Fitbit app, the other one could use the phone's Web browser to navigate to www.fitbit.com and sign-on to his/her account. As you do this, I don't know if the other one will be knocked off or still active. No harm in trying.

Does this help any?

Thank you TW. What is odd is the actual Fitbit changed, not just the app on the iphone. Help!

If that's the case @KVH61, it sounds to me like you now have both trackers set up to your husband's account. So please try this:

  1. Log out of the Fitbit app and close the app;
  2. Tap on the Fitbit app again and sign-on to your account;
  3. At the bottom of your dashboard page, tap on Account;

and see what devices are shown. On your account, there should only be one device, your Fibit One.

If you repeat all these steps again, but this time signing-on to your husband's account, tapping on Account should also show just one tracker, which in this case should be your husband's Charge HR.

Please check this out and tell us what you get.

Thank you. I just did what you said and it shows just the Fitbit One. I will try it on my husbands phone tonight. Thank you.
