Thomas Harr

Thomas Harr is chief economist at Danmarks Nationalbank. At the bank, he manages the economics and monetary policy department, including the research unit. He also serves as chairman of the Danish Economic Society and is a member of the Monetary Policy Committee under the ECB. Before joining the central bank in 2021, Thomas worked in investment banking for 16 years where his last role was as global head of research at Danske Bank. Harr has published research in leading economic journals and authored the book The Great Inflation Resurgence. He holds a PhD in economics from the University of Copenhagen and an MSc from the London School of Economics.
