Moritz A. Drupp is Associate Professor for Sustainability Economics & Chair of the Sustainability Economics Group at ETH Zürich and also affiliated with the University of Gothenburg, the University of Hamburg, CESifo and CEPR. His research focuses on designing and evaluating public policies to address sustainability challenges, such as relating to climate change, biodiversity conservation, fishery and forests, air and water quality, and health, with a special focus on distributional issues. His work has been recognised, among others, with the 2024 European Award for Researchers in Environmental Economics under the Age of Forty, the 2024 Joachim Herz Prize for the collaborative project "Mapping the Effects of Environmental Policies (MEEP)", and a 2025 Frontiers Planet Prize.
