Kurt Mitman is an Associate Professor at the Institute for International Economic Studies at Stockholm University, a Research Affiliate of the Centre for Economic Policy Research, and a Research Fellow of the IZA Institute of Labor Economics. He serves as Managing Editor of the Review of Economic Studies. His research is focused broadly on macroeconomics, with a particular interest in housing, household debt and default, and labor market dynamics. Kurt has published his research in top economics journals including the American Economic Review and the Journal of Political Economy. He received his PhD in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania in 2014
