Giovanni is at the European Central Bank since 2022, where he is working in the Euro Area External Sector Division within the Directorate General of Economics . His main research interests focus on international trade, global value chains and macroeconomic modelling. He holds a PhD in Economics from University of Rome Tor Vergata.
