Giorgio Gobbi is Head of Financial Stability and Deputy Director General for Economics, Statistics and Research at Banca d'Italia. He is member of the Advisory Technical Committee of the ESRB and of the Financial Stability Committee of the ESCB, and Expert Member of the European Investment Bank Board of Directors. Giorgio Gobbi is the author of numerous articles on banking and finance published both in Italy and abroad (including The Journal of Finance, The Review of Finance and The Journal of Banking and Finance). He has co-authored two books on the Italian financial system.
