Ganesh is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Warwick Business School. His research interests are in international finance, foreign exchange (FX) markets, stablecoins, and decentralized finance (DeFi). One area of his work examines FX markets, dealer constraints, and cross-border funding, using high-frequency data to study how monetary policy affects financial markets. Another area focuses on stablecoins—cryptocurrencies designed to maintain a stable peg, typically to the US dollar. He studies peg stability, arbitrage design, and the efficiency of blockchain-based platforms relative to traditional markets.
