Gaetano Basso (PhD Economics, UC Davis, 2016) joined the Bank of Italy, Labour Market Division, DG Economics, Statistics and Research, in 2017. Previously, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Bank of Italy (2016-2017), a Graduate Student Affiliate at the UC Davis Center for Poverty Research. Before the PhD, he worked at Fondazione Rodolfo Debenedetti (2009-2011), where he is currently Affiliate. He has authored several research papers and policy articles on various topics in labour economics and economics of migration.
