Francesca de Nicola is a Senior Economist at the World Bank Group. Her current research focuses on productivity, innovation, and the green transition. She started her career at the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI). Francesca holds a PhD in Economics from Johns Hopkins University and has published in journals such as the Journal of Development Economics, Quantitative Economics, and Energy Economics.
