Chiara Zanardello is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at IAST/TSE from October 2025. She uses applied microeconomics tools to study how people, ideas, and institutions shape long-term growth. While much of her work takes a historical perspective, her research more broadly explores questions related to migration, education, and innovation. She obtained her PhD in Economics at UCLouvain (IRES/LIDAM) in September 2025.
