Null Modem Cables - DB9 Fem to DB9 Fem or D25 Fem to DB9 Fem

High quality Shielded Null Modem cables for PC & Amiga made to our strict high standards

Null Modem is a relatively simple way to network two AMIGAS via the Serial port. It requires a special 25 to 25 cable made
by Unitech. For full details on Aminet. Sernet has been available since 1986 for the AMIGA A1000, and for the models of the
AMIGA COMPUTER in latter years the, A2000, A2500, A3000, A3000T, A4000, A4000T and A1200 and a version for CD32

Use SerNet or similar P.D. Serial software, available on Aminet etc.

Transfer data easily between any model of AMIGA Computer and / or a AMIGA CDTV

Transfer data between two PC's , from P.C. to P.C. via NULL MODEM cables for P.C. which are also available.

 C.72525 ...Null Modem Cable for Transferring AMIGA data .. 1.0 metre .. AUD$ 14.50 + GST = AUD$ 15.95
 C.77525 ...Null Modem Cable for Transferring AMIGA data .. 3.0 metre .. AUD$ 18.50 + GST = AUD$ 20.35
 C.73865 ...Null Modem Cable for Transferring P.C. data ...... 1.0 metre .. AUD$ 14.50 + GST = AUD$ 15.95
 C.74865 ...Null Modem Cable for Transferring P.C. data ...... 3.0 metre .. AUD$ 18.50 + GST = AUD$ 20.35

We do not recommend transferring data over distances greater than 3 metres - Longer = slower.

The installation of SerNet takes about 12 minutes , not as fast as ParNet, however it does work.
ParNet is faster to send data over 10 metres or more, but a longer cable makes it slightly slower.
Using ParNet, you can link several AMIGAS via a 25 wire "network" and see each one on your screen.
ParNet software is on one 880K floppy disk and quite easy to install. Instructions are on the disk.
Check with AmiNet for all of your required AMIGA software solutions. It's free and Public Domain.
PARNET can be linked to up to six Amiga's via the parallel port on each. How simple is that !
