Easing the mental health crisis with puppets
At a time when child and adolescent well-being was under extreme pressure, school psychology professor Sandra Chafouleas collaborated with UConn puppetry experts to bring simple emotion-regulation strategies to the masses. The award-winning Feel Your Best Self toolkit uses videos starring engaging puppet characters, hands-on workshops, and other resources to teach kids and families how to calm down, connect with others, and shift their feelings.
