The 2005 CCU is the same physical size as the EMI 2001 CCU and is similar in appearance, but, as it is a 3 tube camera, without the controls for the luminance channel.
The CCU is constructed using the ISEP racking system by ITT.
The small white square on the right side is a Lego tile. These were widely used by the BBC the identify equipment and fitted to a 4 stud carrier plate were easily transferred to a replacement unit. They were a BBC central stores item and available in 7 colours, part number (white) 0216131, 1ドル.00 for a pack of 25.
