Indonesia has signed a 42ドル million contract with Thales for three new maritime patrol planes. These will be modified by Thales from CN-235-200 transports using the new Airborne Maritime Situational Control System. Indonesia has established a fourth air defense sector headquarters, this one on Timor. The others include Sector I at Jakarta, Sector II at Pandang, and Sector III on Sumatra.--Stephen V Cole
