hkara01 Posted 2022年11月15日What a great editor. I don't understand why it is not more in widespread use. I like it as much as emacs or vi. And writing your own macros is easy and very powerful ; it's much easier than in emacs !1 user found this review helpful.

gigagerard Edited 2020年12月21日I use jEdit all the time, but version 5.6.0 is very unstable in Windows (try open some ten documents, search for a common word, and then try view the results in each file, my 5.6 program crashed on that). I replaced it by version jEdit 5.5 and that works so far as it always did. Great programmer editor if you know RegExp! --- --- --- P.S. Stick to the default Metal look and feel, and no "experimental features" (strangely enough in 5.5 you can't copy paste in the search field with other look and feels).
