イギリスの演劇界で名を成し、演劇界で一世を風靡した女性演出家・小泉彩乃。しかしながら、ここ数年は観客動員が伸び悩み、とことん追い込むその演出スタイルは俳優からも敬遠されている。 新作舞台『完全なる飼育』の公演初日を2日後に控えている中、サディスティックな演出についていけなくなった主演俳優が突如降板。もはや中止にするしかない。諦めた彩乃が劇場を後にしようとした時、一人の⻘年・篠田蒼がやってくる。演技が上手いとは到底見えない蒼を追い返そうとする彩乃。だが、蒼は、何とかオーディションを受けさせて欲しいと懇願する。そのすがるような眼差しに血が騒ぐ彩乃。 そして、まるで"飼育"するような、過酷な舞台稽古が始まる──。
Ayano, a female stage director, took the world by storm after her successful stage production in England. However, her fame was short lasting and by now, ticket sales were diminishing and her ruthless reputation was also a source of actor’s avoiding her. 2 days prior to her upcoming production "The Perfect Education", the lead actor, no longer able to tolerate her sadistic directing, suddenly dropped out. The production was left with no other option other than to shut down. As Ayano was leaving the barren theater in despair, a young man, Aoi, appears out of nowhere and asks to audition for the part. Seeing no prospect, Ayano dismisses Aoi, but Aoi’s desperation eventually wins her over. Preparations rapidly resume and Ayano’s merciless "education" begins.

The latest film from the scandalous "The Perfect Education" series, which originated in 1999 (directed by Ben Wada, written by Kaneto Shindo). In this latest film, the distinctive "education" takes place on two different layers; one being, the theater production’s premise about an entrapped princess under cultivation, and the other being, the director’s domination over her actor. All shot in Taiwan.
