iOS 10's Clock app scores dark mode and a nifty sleep analysis feature

Just yesterday, Apple unveiled iOS 10 and essentially put the kibosh to the often-recurring rumor that the operating system is going to score a dark, system-wide UI theme. Or did it? Well, one thing is for certain - dark mode was not among the features demoed at the keynote, but what was discovered after the developer images got live still gives us hope.

One of the essential iOS apps, Clock, is now rolling with an eye-pleasing dark themе that spans across all the tabs and settings of the app. Of course, this visual overhaul could remain an exclusive for the Clock app, but we'd like to regard it as a hint that dark mode could eventually become a staple of iOS.

Apart from the theme, the Clock app also scores a new feature, dubbed Bedtime. Essentially, it's a sleep analysis/wake alarm tracker that initially asks you when do you want to go to bed in the evening, when do you want to wake up, and how long would you like to sleep. After you do so, it will wake you up with recurring reminders every evening when your bedtime nears and wake-up alarms in the same tame each morning. The app claims that this will vastly improve your sleep.
