Overview
AV Tanjō is a typically Japanese 'life-sim' in the same vein as Graduation, but with more explicit adult content due to it being an unlicensed Games Express release. You get to 'manage' the lives of three pretty young girls, Kotomi, Kyoko and Suzunu. You plan their month ahead by selecting various activities like aerobics, dating, showering, relaxing etc but must be mindful of the statistics on the right hand side of the screen. Certain activities can lower some stats while raising others, so choose with care. After each month, you get a girl chosen at random and can give them something extra (like a present) to keep them happy.
Comment
There isn't really much depth to AV Tanjō. Choose some activities at random, watch the little animations, see a dirty picture, rinse and repeat. But of course that's the point of this, and any other Games Express title - and to give them credit, the anime pictures are well enough drawn. There's nothing overly racy to be seen (just a lot of T&A) and even forgetting this, the game can amuse you for at least the length of your first play through it, especially if you've not played something of this type before. Lack of Japanese skills don't hamper you as such, but will reduce your enjoyment as you won't really know what any of the stats mean which does reduce the gameplay to selecting anything at random just to progress. So really, if you expect a short, watered down version of Graduation with lots of gratuitous hentai shots then you won't be disappointed.

To view all the girlie pictures, push RUN, UP, RIGHT, DOWN, LEFT, SELECT, II and I on the title screen. Then choose the girl you want with I and use left/right to alter the option.
