PAGASA would like to inform and caution the public of unauthorized individuals posing to be officials of the agency soliciting money for a foundation. A report has been received by PAGASA that an email had been sent to a contractor by someone pretending to be a PAGASA Official seeking to solicit donation to a certain foundation. We do not tolerate and detest that misrepresentation. Please be advised that no individuals or organization are authorized to use the name of PAGASA, its officials and employees for a favor. We request anyone who receive similar mail, email or calls to immediately report the matter to PAGASA Public Information Unit at Telephone No. (02) 8284-0800 local 1100 to 1101 or email us at information@pagasa.dost.gov.ph.See More

PAGASA PLDT Telephone Trunkline (8284-0800) Services Downtime
In line with the scheduled migration the PAGASA Telephone Trunk line Server from ISDN to SIP to be implemented on <b>16 October 2025 at 9:00AM to 5:00PM,</b> the PAGASA Trunkline number: <b>8284-0800</b> shall not be accessible to the public; and, all outgoing calls shall not be available. Completion is expected prior to the scheduled deadline. Furthermore, while the Trunkline Server infrastructure remains internally accessible for the integration, please note that the availability of local extensions will be limited throughout the specified period to give way to the following activities: - Cut over of New IPBX system - Migration of Trunk line from ISDN to SIP Trunk (PLDT) - Shutdown of old IPBX (Avaya system) - Activate and test new IP Phones - Pull out of old telephone sets Appropriate advisory shall be posted in the PAGASA website to inform the public of the telephone services downtime. Operations personnel shall make use of their existing private telephone numbers for communication requirements.
