NSK State citizen Matjaž Stopar, is showcasing his two-year-long projects at the "Nature and Society" exhibition at the Trbovlje Workers' Home Gallery. The exhibition features a selection of crosses he crafted daily from August 21, 2022, to August 20, 2023, sharing them on Facebook and Instagram. You’ll also find 354 charming photographs of the same motif taken between January 7, 2022, and January 6, 2023, along with a captivating video of these photos.

The Slovenian artist collective IRWIN is celebrating its 40th anniversary with an exhibition titled "Was ist Kunst, IRWIN?". The exhibition delves into the black humour that is always present in IRWIN’s work, as well as how they use the questions of the State to comment on contemporary issues, such as migration. The exhibition will open on Friday, September 8th, 2023.

The exhibited works of art are in progress. They are finished but not completed. They remain open to new ideas, concepts and contributions. They are already transient by themselves, says their author Mr Matjaž Stopar. As long as they are in his possession, he reserves the right to change, adapt, discard and destroy them per a new concept.

Slovenian art collective IRWIN and Epifani Institute from Prishtina, Kosovo are announcing the ‘NSK Territory Prishtina’, their joint project at the location of On Top Residency. By raising the NSK flag, a small plot of land will be declared an "independent territory".

KonstruktK3 collective Art project

KonstruktK3 started as a collective virtual art project produced by 3 NSK citizens 24 weeks ago and going further in time on Instagram profile. Every week artists decide about a theme/concept for that week and make personal interventions - interpretations on a theme, involving the black cross object, first used in 2016 for the Malewitsch der Woche (Berthold Schymura) project. Art exhibition "24 CROSSing weeks / 24 tednov KRIŽenja" represents digital photo prints as materialization of the collective's interventions in the first 24 weeks of the project.
