What is it? An event to celebrate old video games; a hands-on, living museum, where a variety of classic game systems and computers and retro games will be showcased. Atari Party is a free event, open to the public, hosted by volunteers from the local community.

News:

• 2017年11月02日 - Sac Gamers Expo is next month, on December 10th at the Scottish Rite Center. We've been asked if any Atari Party volunteers would be willing to bring some gear to the show again this year. If you're interested, chime in the thread on the coordination mailing list or the post about it over on the Facebook group.
• 2017年09月20日 - Atari Party is being postponed! Sorry for the bad news! See Marlin's post to the coordination list.
• 2017年08月02日 - The date and location for Atari Party 2017 ("under new management") is set: Sunday, October 1st at the public library in Davis. (12pm-4pm; with setup from 11am-12pm, and breakdown from 4pm-5pm). More details forthcoming!
• 2017年05月05日 - New Atari Party coordinator! Marlin "MacRorie" Bates, of Woodland, has offered to take over coordination of future Atari Parties. If you'd like to help volunteer, you're encouraged to sign up for the coordination mailing list.
• 2017年01月29日 - Sacramento Indie Arcade is taking place again this year in West Sacramento on Saturday, April 8th. Once again, there'll be a small contingent of Atari Partians there, showing off our old (and new) gadgets, alongside all of the modern indie games being exhibited by developers. Tickets range from 5ドル-20.
• 2016年07月27日 - In case you missed it, Atari Party organizer Bill Kendrick was recently interviewed by 'Ferg' on his excellent Atari 2600 Game by Game Podcast. Listen to it here!
